Gabriela González (she/they) is a queer poet and fiction writer of Afro-Caribbean ancestry born and raised in New York City. She holds degrees from Columbia University and CUNY Hunter College, and is an incoming Summer 2026 Poet Fellow with Abode Press. Gabi is currently working on their debut novel, a work of queer, contemporary fiction exploring the tendrils of gentrification in Washington Heights, alongside a debut poetry collection. Her work investigates grief, lineage, queerness, and pleasure. They are currently based in Brooklyn.
